It is difficult being a high school student and thinking about what you are going to do with the rest of your life.  Many students do not know until they actually get out of high school. All students are required to take standardized tests throughout their high school career. Some people say that if you don’t do very well on the ACT or SAT, you probably won’t get a good job, but others disagree.

I would not say that these tests are predicting a student’s success as an adult, but it is safe to say that the test can have an effect on a student’s life. There are many more important things in life that can help you get into a good college, but the ACT scores have a play in that as well. If a student has a good test score, they are more likely to get a scholarship.  Scholarships can help a lot with getting into a good college. This test could easily have an impact on someone’s life.
