Loyalsock High School has the opportunity of bringing different activities to the gym classes be held here. Wednesday, May 9th, the gym classes got to experience the rock wall that was set up in the school parking lot near the gymnasium. The National Guard brings the rock wall here and to different schools in the area. Loyalsock has had the opportunity of getting the rock wall to come for several years, but this is the first time in past three years. The rock wall was there from 8:30 to 3 pm on Wednesday. All of Mr. Waller and Mrs. Masetti’s gym classes were required to participate in the activity. The student’s grade is determined off of trying and participating. If they don’t attempt to climb, they lost participation points for that day. This wall is a way to test the strength of the students, overcome challenges and for some kids, to get over the fear of heights. It is a privilege to be included in the fun of climbing.
