The boys’ basketball season came to a close with a 68-59 loss at Capital. “We could have done better,” junior Chris Neal said, “We did what we could, they just came out stronger.”

Even though they lost against Capital, the boys still had a winning season. “We could have gone to States, but we still did good this year,” freshman Wes Mitchem said.

Now that their season is over, players like sophomore Matt Goldsberry have next year to think about. Goldsberry explained that even though the team will have several starters graduate with the class of 2010, they may seem young but they should be strong. “We have a lot of pretty good freshmen coming up, too,” Goldsberry said.
