Taiwo L. had a great 2011-12 school year (like many other students), but it does have to come to an end.
He had highlights like playing tennis for Dobie and meeting new friends along the way, and he can’t wait to see what next year brings.
Daeja S. said the worst thing about this school year was all the drama.
The 2011-12 school year is finally coming to an end for Dobie Jr. High. The last day of class is May 31, 2012. Many people are excited to leave school for summer. Lots of people are also excited to be one grade advanced.
“STAAR testing was all messed up, so that could be better,” Matthew O. said.
This was the first year that STAAR was administered. The results won’t come until November 2012. The teachers will find out the results and will find out ways to help students next year on the STAAR.
“Meeting new people,” was the best thing about 2012 for Mikaela S.
