The Gananda girls Junior Varsity basketball team is starting fresh this year with a new coach. Unfortunately, Miss Meuweissen is no longer with the coaching staff for basketball this year, so Mr. Muldowney is filling in for her this season. We interviewed Mr. Muldowney about this year’s season and we asked, “Are you excited about the JV girls season?” He responded, “Absolutely!” in an enthusiastic tone.
Before coaching in the Gananda district, Mr. Muldowney coached the boys varsity basketball team at Morrisville- Eaton High. He told us that the level of playing was different at Morrisville than here in Gananda. We also asked him if he plans on changing any of the plays that were used during last year’s season. He added, “Maybe slightly, but most of the plays that Miss Meuweissen contributed were very successful, and I know that Miss Meuweissen will be there to help out as well.” Mr. Muldowney is looking forward to the team’s hard-working season and many wins this year
