Need to go shopping? Black Friday was a great time to buy items at a cheaper price. The bad side of this was the terrible crowds. To survive this erratic time of season, a few fellow students have a some ideas in mind to help, such as, juniors, Caleb Walsh said.
“I think it’s a good idea to shop at the Dollar Store. It’s not busy at all!” Nathan’s idea was: shop at Tractor Supply for all your Christmas needs.
Throughout the holiday season, your days may become rather busy. Not only do you have to plan dates to visit with the friends and family, but also during this holiday, gifts are a requirement. When in search of presents, look in shops that are less popular. It’s a good idea to avoid popular or name brand stores due to the crowd. As you head to the less popular stores, your chances of finding a more thoughtful and unusual gift are higher. Family and friends will appreciate this more and are less likely to receive the same gift from another person. Try to stay clear from clothes due to sizing problems.
Another nice idea is to keep a date book inside your purse or pocket. This will allow you to keep up with important dates, such as, shipping dates or days you must visit specific stores. This will keep you organized on your must do’s.
Set up outdoor Christmas decorations in advance, or before the weather becomes too cold. As for indoor decorations, no need to worry because weather won’t be an issue.
Brandye Middleton, a junior, had a few clever ideas in mind to survive the family during this holiday season.
“If you receive a gift you aren’t fond of, don’t be rude. Just be sure to keep hold of the receipt,” said Middleton. Many family members have a tendency of greeting you by squeezing your cheeks.
Danielle Williams, another junior, said, “Be sure you cover your cheeks to prevent the squeezing from the family.”
