Looking at the past four years of my time at Oak Glen High School, it is extremely hard to be retrospective. I absolutely despised my first two years in this building, just going day to day, trying to do what I needed. I met someone my junior year, which made it halfway decent, but my senior year, I just didn't care. It's an unhealthy attitude to have, but I got through this year coasting on that. I would warn those who are incoming and working their way through Oak Glen, work hard and put some elbow grease into it, but enjoy your time. By no means, hould you allow the teaching or administration staff to take away that enjoyment. Some won't, but there are others who will and you will just have to suffer through them and keep to yourself. Also, don't try to befriend everyone. focus on those closest to you and just be honest and kind. High school is a horrid experience, but can be enjoyed one way or the other if you allow yourself to.
