Casey and Colin study for their exams. -
With exams three weeks away, excitement and stress fill the AACS hallways. The students are realizing that in less than 20 days the school year will be over, but they have four days of anticipated exams.
When asked what they are doing to prep for exams, most students had the same response, “nothing.”
Junior Casey Bugtong said, “I haven’t even started thinking about it.”
Junior Jenna Hecker said that she is starting to take advantage of her notes. “The material is more difficult this year,” said Jenna.
Junior Colin Pastrana said, "I started making note cards for all of the vocab.” He’s one of the few students that has started reviewing.
An anonymous student responded with, “I just accept the fact that I am going to fail.”
Junior Alex Fetter said he hasn’t started to review at all.
Math teacher, Mr. Jon Storey hasn’t started any reviewing in his class yet and hasn’t finished creating the exam. When asked if he sees a change in his students during exam week he responded, “they freak out for no reason.”
Even though most students at AACS are procrastinating, there is no escaping exam week. Wishfully all students will begin reviewing soon with the hopes of ending the school year with a strong finish.
