            I simply cannot wait until June 2, my graduation date.

            I’m so ready to graduate from high school and go into the Navy.

            I always tell my mom, “Mom I have only 14 (and counting down) days left, until I walk across the stage! I cannot believe it,” and she’ll be like, “Yeah, I know.”

            Now when I tell my dad, it is whole different story. He’ll be like “What? Yes, I cannot wait, until you are out of the house. Mom and I are about to buy new furniture and throw a party.”

            I just laugh, because I know he is just playing and he is going to miss me when I’m gone.

            My dad and I have a roller coaster father-daughter relationship, but at the end of the day we still love each other.

            After graduation, I’m going back home (Seattle) to visit my family and friends.

            Out here in Tracy, I feel alone, no good friends (which I’m fine with, because they are all back home.), but family is what I truly miss.

            It’s been a good three years since I have been back to Washington, and I cannot wait to return June 5.

            I miss the Seattle weather a lot, it would snow and get really cold there.

            That’s what I’m use to, that what I was born and raised around (the cold weather), and then to come to a hot/sunny state, is a big change for me.

            I don’t know how long I’ll be in Seattle, but I have told my mom, “I don’t plan on coming back to Tracy, I hate it here.”

            She didn’t say anything but, “Hmmm”.

            While I am in Seattle, I plan to look for a job. I don’t want to rely on my family to give me money, especially my grandparents (who I will be staying with).

            I keep counting down the days until graduation and the day that I leave... 12. 11…10.

            I cannot wait to go home to see all of my family and friends.
