Espresso America is located between Quizno’s and Five Points Bank on South Burlington. Espresso is a small, comfy shop with a cozy vibe that is great for studying. It has a quiet atmosphere, which is a great feature for small get-together. Espresso America also features a drive-thru window for easy access for on-the-go drinks. Recommendations: A Hay Stack Mocha with a homemade Oatmeal cookie.
Barista’s Daily Grind is located off of Tom Osborne Expressway next to Dairy Queen. Barista’s is a drive-thru coffee hut. Although it has no sit-down area, it is a perfect way to get great coffee fast. It features a spacious drive-thru lane with a full, easy to read menu. The friendly and experienced baristas here, make for fast and delicious drinks for on-the-go drinkers. Recommendations: One of their many flavors of Fruit Smoothies.
The Blue Moon is a quaint coffee shop located on 2nd Street downtown. Its features consist of window seating, a blue tile ceiling, and original wood floors. The Blue Moon features live musical acts, poetry readings, and skit performances regularly. With an array of food and beverage choices, this is a great choice for morning coffee with the parents or a nice lunch with friends. Recommendations: A steamy Pooh Bear (specialty coffee) with a cinnamon roll.
