Senior year is full of stress mixed with some fun. Senior activities are a major part of the fun. The first activity on the list was Senior Breakfast. Senior Breakfast took place at Lucky Strike Lanes on Friday February 11th. For many students it was a new experience.

The place was new to most, sort of like an adventure. We got there and first they gave us our bowling shoes. Each group of students picked their lanes and we then moved on to get our breakfast. Once everybody finished eating, we moved on to the bowling. For many students it was their first time bowling, so they still needed to learn the fundamentals.

Senior Breakfast, although not all of the senior class attended, was a success. It served as a great stress reliever especially since finals had just passed and a lot of us needed a break from school.

“Senior Breakfast was more than I expected, at first I thought it would suck because a lot of people were not going, but it turned out alright,” Nelson Rodriguez said.

Nelson like many other seniors, thought he was not going to get the full senior experience when he found out only a few seniors were actually going.

“I had fun. I don’t think the amount of people that went mattered because we were all in our small groups,” Jose Valencia said.

Although it might have seemed like a disappointment that not many students were able to go, it could also be seen as an advantage. Every group got their own lane to themselves, there was plenty of food for everyone, and the area was not over crowded.

The next activity on the list is Senior Prom, which will take place at the Queen Mary on May 27. As many students count down the days until graduation, we are all just trying to make it the best couple of months we can. There is no going back, we are almost done.
