Jeremy Lin's weapon of choice - Nate Towery

Jeremy Lin has gone from couch to court in a story for the ages. The 23 year old has been sensational in just a handful of games this year and has been dominant against some of the NBA’s best teams.
Jeremy Lin, a Harvard graduate, was undrafted but picked up by his hometown Golden State Warriors at the beginning of the 2010-2011 season. Throughout the season Lin failed to produce points and was dropped three times to the NBA’s developmental league. The following preseason, Lin was waived by the Warriors and then by the Houston Rockets. His basketball career looked to be over when the New York Knicks came calling.
In New York, Lin continued to play in the developmental league until the Knicks called him up in February of 2012. This was the moment he was waiting for. On February 4, 2012, Jeremy Lin, the no-name point guard of Chinese descent, outplayed all-star Deron Williams of the New Jersey Nets, but that’s not all he did. Lin scored 25 points, had five rebounds, and 11 assists, and led the Knicks to their ninth victory of the season. With Lin playing a major role on the team without superstars Carmelo Anthony and Amar’e Stoudemire, the Knicks won seven games in a row, getting back to a record of 15-15.
In Lin’s first six career starts, he has totaled 136 points, the most by any player since 1977. However, there is a downside to Lin’s game. He has totaled 45 turnovers in six starts, the most by any player since 1977.
Will “Linsanity” die down just like “Tebow Time?” We will just have to wait and see.
