“High school is not about making memories. High school is a place to gain knowledge and prepare you for the place you feel you fit in society. If you graduate with few memories, but you fit in your career or even attend the college of your dreams your high school years were successful. If you have a ton of great memories from high school but you didn’t create or achieve any long term goals you had set for yourself early on, then you will have fallen into the same trap thousands of others have: wishing you were still in high school twenty years from now.” - anonymous senior
