"The Hawks could not stop the Alba-Golden rushing attack Friday night, and then you throw in 4 turnovers and you get a lopsided score of 7-47," Coach Keith Cook said.

The Hawks scored right before the half when Ethan Edwards threw a 10-yard TD pass to Chris Beall. Chris also kicked the extra point for the Hawks' only points of the night. The Hawks rushed for 145 yards with Chris Beall leading the way with 68 yards on 12 carries. Lavon Davis ran for 55 yards on 14 carries. Chris caught 3 passes for 31 yards and 1 TD. Michael Kocher also caught a pass for 7 yards.

Defensively, the Hawks were led by Chris Beall with 14 tackles and Lavon Davis with 13. Cole Harwell had an interception. Chris Beall and Jacob Dannenberg each caused fumbles. Lavon Davis and Jared Betts recovered fumbles.



The Hawks are now 1-2 on the season.
