The Hawks fell to Como-Pickton with a loss of 42-0.
"The Eagles are definitely the best
team we faced in non-district action. We continue to struggle moving
the ball offensively. We only had 104 yards of offense," Head Coach Keith Cook said.
Chris
Beall led the team in rushing with 3 carries for 19 yards. Ethan
Edwards completed 4 of 8 passes for 41 yards. Ryan Johnson
caught one screen pass for 28 yards. Defensively, the Hawks were led
by Jared Betts with 11 tackles. Chris Beall caused a
fumble. Jared Lowery recovered a fumble.
The Hawks' are now 1-4 this season.
