The Hawks are 0-2 in district play after losing to Maud 40-6.
"I know the score does not necessarily reflect it, but the Hawks made some improvements," Head Coach Keith Cook said.
Freshman Lavon Davis had 28 touches for over 100 yards total. He had 70 yards rushing on 24 carries and 4 receptions for 33 yards. Ethan Edwards rushed 7 times for 25 yards and 1 TD, and completed 6 of 11 passes for 46 yards. Defensively, the Hawks were led by freshman Emery King, with 9 tackles from the corner position. Lavon Davis, Jared Betts, and Jacob Dannenberg had 8 tackles each. Lavon Davis also blocked an extra point kick.
