Senior Margarito Perez has been playing soccer for the past 12 years and since freshman year for Bastrop. He has earned the chance to learn and grow new skills in the sport as well learning the importance for teamwork.

"I like the fact that soccer is a team effort," Perez said.

After high school Perez plans on attending college to pursue a future career in physics.

"Physics has always been a passion for me as well as soccer," Perez said.

Perez also plans on playing soccer in college.

"I enjoy having the feeling of joy when I’m on the field. There’s nothing like it," Perez said.

Perez also has a special request.

"I would like to ask my girlfriend Adamaira Yvette Alvarado to prom," Perez said.
