For senior Victoria Berry College is going to be her stepping stone into pursuing a future career in athletic training which she has been participating in since her freshman year.
“Training has taught me discipline, and respect for the athletes.” Berry said.
Victoria’s future plans are to go to Texas Lutheran and major in Athletic Training then go to Colorado State and earn her “I played sports my freshman year, but got injured so I had to do physical therapy with Doc and I instantly fell in love with it.” Berry said.
For Texas Lutheran Victoria has earned a $2,000 scholarship for her major and a $44,000 academic scholarship. After college Victoria hopes to get a job at the Air Force Academy, or the Olympic Training Center.
Victoria has training experience in volleyball, soccer, football, basketball, baseball and track.
“People think we’re just water girls, but in actuality we help the athletes get better so they can play the game they love.”
