The Renaissance Festival began in 1988. This year marked the 24th annual opening of the festival.

The Renaissance Festival is a medival amusement park. The park consists of a 12 stage theater, 30 acre circus, arts and craft booths, and a jousting tournament.

The Festival also has a variety of food. You can get your food from a cart or you can get the famous turkey lug. The portion size of the turkey leg broke the scale. It is truly massive.

When asked about the food, Alex Moya replied, "Oh my gosh the food is AMAZING."

What is the coolest thing at the festival? According to Nathan Mancha its the shops. "They sell some pretty cool stuff there."

With next year being the 25th annual running of the festival, has the festival lost its power? Doubt it but let us find out next year. Are you going?

I love the Renaissance Festival, but you are forgetting a few details. In this article it says the shops are the coolest without explaining why. The shops are extremely expensive. The food is amazing, but you forgot to mention the actors. They are the ones who bring the place to life, interacting with the people, keeping up the spirit (and language) of the time. Not only that, but the shows they do there are free, unlike the two main sources of entertainment you mentioned in the article. Overall, the Renaissance Festival is a great place to have fun, but you do risk spending all the money you brought with you. I can't wait untill next year!
