Realtors from all over Las Vegas are going to be walking through the hallways of Faith Lutheran Jr/Sr High School on Monday, March 12, 2012, attending the first-ever Realtors' Open House.

This event will hopefully make more people attend the school with over 2,000 invitations being passed out. The point of this event is so the realtors know what kind of education is available in Las Vegas and to be able to offer it to their clients.

 “Nevada has one of the lowest levels of education and this is a way to show realtors [our school] and for them to tell their clients that there is another choice out there other than public schools,” said Mrs. Stephanie Cannito, who is part of the Development Office.

“It’s a way to get the realtors to promote Faith to their clients and it’s a way for us to promote the education and technology we offer here at Faith,” continued Ms. Cannito.

The tour will consists of a formal presentation in the Chapel/Performing Arts Center about what the school has to offer to new families and their kids. There will also be performances done by the International Thespian Society as well as the women’s and men’s ensembles. After that, it will be handed over to the Visa Students, at Faith, for a student-led tour of the buildings.

They will hop on the Faith bus and drive around school and the fields to show them how much Faith Lutheran really has to offer especially with all of the new construction that has been going on this school year. The tour will then end with refreshments being offered at the cafeteria.

Faith Lutheran is nestled in the heart of Summerlin and serving over 1,350 students, it is the largest Lutheran school in the United States and the largest non-public school in the state of Nevada. The Realtors' Open House event will take place Monday, March 12, 2012 from 9:00 am to 10:30 am in the Chapel/Performing Arts Center.
