Spring Break can be one of the most exciting weeks of the year but it can also be pretty boring and lame if you don’t have anything to do. I have seen people on Facebook from places like California who have already had their spring break and they said it was extremely boring.
I went around asking kids what they were going to do over spring break many of them said “ I DON’T KNOW”. But some kids did have a response Isaiha Scott said “I’m going to my uncles retirement from the marines” other than that he does not know what else he will be doing. Paul Sokolow says he is going down to North Carolina to visit his sister. Stephan says he will be spending time with his family who lives far away. Markeith Deas says he is excited for spring break because he will be traveling to New York City. Mr. Cralle the journalism teacher says he will be holding baseball practice during the week and plans to go on a hike with his wife and go on a SkyDrive with his wife. Me well I’m going down to South Carolina to visit family over the first weekend of spring break.
Some things to do over spring break are obviously the most common answers: travel and visit family. One of the things I’m hoping to do is go to Kings Dominion which opens April 6th, and it has some new features including the Wind Seeker. The Wind Seeker soars 30 stories above the park. It starts when Riders slowly begin rotating in a circular motion as the swings ascend the tower. The swings reach speeds up to 30 mph, flaring out at a 45-degree angle. There are also new features at the amusement park such as Dinosaurs alive, Fast Lane, and Dinosaurs: Giant of the Patagonia 3D. You can also do weekend activities during the week such as going to the movies, the mall, stay up late and hang out with friends. So what do you plan to do over spring break?
