Eventually, you'd bump into this freak of nature. Catching it also ended up giving you an infinite number of whatever item you had in your sixth item slot.
In Assassins Creed 2 in the last chamber of the Santa Maria Delle Visitazione, there is a pool. Stare into the pool for one minute, and a SQUID swims by. Repeat the process, and an enormous tentacle comes out of the water.
In Gears of War 3 when you’re still on the ship (on the first level) when you come across pipes look down all three pipes and a chicken pops out. Shoot it a bit and it transforms into a huge golden fire breathing chicken.
