After
a thorough investigation of Ankeny High School’s new teacher lounge on
Monday afternoon, authorities were able to confirm that there is, in
fact, a shark tank in the new teacher’s lounge.
“We
were asked not to go in there by campus security, but it was pretty
easy to get around them,” said the Ankeny police department. When the
officers arrived outside, campus security had written each cop car a
ticket for parking in the sophomore lot. No word on whether the school
will follow up on the fines.
The school may be facing some charges.
“Yeah,
it’s very illegal to pull a Great White from its natural habitat like
that. I’m not really sure how they did it,” stated the school’s
attorney.
Authorities
were tipped off after students heard Principal Blackmore talking to
fellow co-workers about how he needed more baby seals to feed the Great
White.
“You
know, it seemed like a good idea at the time. I thought it would boost
team morale. But, I agree, the baby seal thing was definitely crossing
the line,” Principal Blackmore said.
