Schools have gotten the wrong end of the stick when it comes to money cuts. Teachers are having to provide more supplies for their classrooms than before. Students are not getting the education they deserve when subs can not fill in for absent teachers. Teachers are having to take time out of their planning period to substitute for other teachers; therefore, disabling them from getting their work done. Classrooms are becoming more cram packed, making it a harder workplace for students and teachers both. Many students now are not getting the one on one time with teachers as there are more students in classrooms. The overall situation may result in a loss of education for students and shortage of jobs for onlooking teachers.
