With so many choices is there actually a number one shampoo?

Now days there are hundreds of different brands of shampoos.

Each brand produces different lines and provides a different purpose.

There are so many choices so it is very difficult to really say which is the best.

It is impossible to try all the products and choose just one.

That is why when shampoo shopping, the buyer must look at which shampoo is specified for which type of hair.

Some of the most popular brands are Herbal Essence by Clairol, Treseme, Nexxus, Pentane Pro-V, Dove and Garnier Fructis.

All the products vary in price, which is also another simplifying factor.

For example a 13-fluid ounce bottle of Garnier Fructis shampoo is $3.79, while a 13.5 fluid-ounce bottle of Nexxus is $9.99.

That is a really big difference in price, but why?

The ingredients seem to be almost identical, but it is the brand that hair stylists prefer and recommend, which what makes the price so different.

“I have the urge for herbal,” senior Jhonny Sanchez, said, clearly stating that he prefers natural flavored shampoos by Herbal Essence.

Almost all the brands focus on all kinds of different conditions of the hair including color treated hair, permed, oily, dry or even damaged.

There are also some specialized shampoos available to treat dandruff and some other problems that may occur.

Some brands also come up with a special conditioner to go with the shampoo.

“I use pretty much anything that my mom buys me,” sophomore Ian Heckman said.

Shampoos can be found almost everywhere from drugstores to supermarkets, even gas stations, even though the prices might be a little different.

With all the choices, it is really your decision.

It is only a matter of time when you will find something that will be perfect for your own needs.
