Midwest Blessed is a new hip-hop group consisting of seniors Matt Andal, Chris Raley and Dale Moss.
The group has been creating its own musical fusion for over a year on the south side of B-town at Andal’s.
“Rap is something I have always wanted to do, and when I saw the people around me doing it, I decided to give it a shot,” Andal said.
After having released a self-titled debut album in July, the group plans to release its second album this January.
“The second CD is a lot better than the first CD,” Raley said. “We have come a long way since the beginning.”
The second CD will feature junior Cory Foster and sophomore Dylan West.
“It’s cool to see other people from Brandon doing the same thing we’re doing,” Moss said, “and it’s giving us an opportunity to collaborate with them.”
