Sixteen vocalists and four orchestra members will be performing in the All-State Chorus and Orchestra Concert in Rapid City Saturday.

Vocalists are seniors Julia Blue, Meagan Donovan, Katie Larson, junior Cara Brown, sopranos; seniors Jennifer Hessman, Rebecca Thompson, Justine Turbak, Tressa Tingle, altos; seniors Jake Homer, Charlie Sellers, Danny Sellers, sophomore Alik Hindbjorgen, tenors; seniors Tyler Nelson, Jay Wright, sophomores Eliot Blue and Michael Bader, basses.

“I love singing,” Homer said. “I just love performing in a big choir.”

The orchestra members are freshman Brendan Gallo, cello; junior Danielle Granberg, violin; Anthony Pederson, cello; and senior Derek Rohlf, violin.

“It gives you a sense of accomplishment,” four-time All-Stater Derek Rohlf said. “That hard work allows you to play with the best musicians in the state.”

Their directors are Terry Gullickson and Shelly Berg.
