One of the skate parks in Johnstown is the Crucified skate park. It’s in the upstairs of the Tire Hill casket co.
They have a skate team of there own, and they have tons of ramps. The people who own the park’s son goes all around the country finding and buying ramps.
It’s hosted by the Knipples family who also are the managers of Ski Den Sports. There son and some of the skaters share there story on how God changed there life at the short service we have.
Most of the skaters down there are sponsored but some that aren’t, should be. Some of the people that go down there are just learning or are good, but not sponsored, or can do basic tricks.
You can skate, rollerblade, or bmx. It’s on Tuesdays at 6:00pm to 8:00pm. They almost always have free food for everyone and drinks.
They have a big variety of ramps and rails so go try it out if your looking for a place to skate even in the winter, because it’s open all year and it’s indoors.
