Freshman year is thought by many to be the most difficult and nerve- racking year of school you will ever have to go through. When you are freshmen, everything is so new and big, and you are clueless about almost everything. Between finding all of your classes and getting there on time and steering clear of all of the upper classmen, it is no wonder why the incoming freshmen are so nervous, and even scared. Well, for all of the freshmen out there, if you read this carefully and try to use the things I am about yo tell you, you can make your first freshmen year a whole lot better.

First of all, don’t believe everything you hear. Upper classmen like to talk big, and almost never do anything to back it up. Doing this is just their way of showing they are superior because they are older. However, even though most of the time upper classmen won’t do anything, don’t go looking for intentional trouble, because maybe sometimes they will. It is you choice how you want things to work out for you. If you don’t know what to do and what not to do, I am here to help you. If you take my advice, I am sure you will have a better year.

My first piece of advice is to make as many friends as you can. Friends are a great thing to have, and always make life a little bit easier. You can ask them for their advice on things, and you’ll always have someone to hang out with.

My second piece of advice is to have fun, but don’t be too loud. Upper classmen hate it when freshmen are really loud, and just think they are annoying. Then, they will tell all of their friends that you are annoying, and that definitely wouldn’t be good, would it?

My third piece of advice is to not worry about every little thing that goes wrong. Things go wrong sometimes, and if you always think about what went wrong, nothing is going to get better; it is just going to stress you out. If you are always stressed out, you will never have any fun. So, just learn to let things go.

Well, now that you have heard my three pieces of advice, if you follow them, I am sure you will have a much better freshman year!
