Uni’s Literary Magazine continues to wow readers year after year; this year’s edition comes out next week. It usually contains original student work including stories, poems, and artwork.
This is by far the most interesting read because it’s created by the students for the students. The Literary Magazine is included in the senior package; however, it costs $11 if a student wishes to purchase a magazine outside of the Senior package.
The magazine is organized by Rosaisela Lomeli’s 4th period class. These talented students design the cover and all other pages in the book; some are chosen to pair the writing with pieces of artwork that match the theme.
All of the writing samples are well written and edited. Along with the literary part of this magazine, it includes pictures and artwork specifically picked to go along with the certain writing pieces. There are many fascinating pictures of people, nature and abstract pieces that make the magazine appealing. Other than photography, there are also hand made pieces of art; some are sketched while others are painted.
Animals, nature, and people are the main subject of all of the artwork included in this book. This year’s magazine is called Impressions. The students who produced the magazine worked very hard and were each assigned their own pages to design.
They had to organize their pages and put the art and writing pieces together using In Design in the most creative possible way.
Everyone who submitted their own work did an excellent job and all of the people in the Writer’s Seminar class cooperated with each other to create a wonderful literary magazine.
The magazine is now complete and will be ready for all to read next week. Pick up your copy as soon as possible, but hurry up because these are going to sell like hot cakes.
